Ghost Bikes

Ghost Bikes are memorials to bicyclists who have been killed in traffic accidents. These bicycles are completely painted white and placed on display at the scene of the fatal accident not only to commemorate the life of the rider, but to also serve as a sobering reminder to passing motorists: failure to SHARE THE ROAD can have tragic consequences! For more information, and for the location of other ghost bikes, visit the Ghost Bike web page; much of the biographical information here came from that site.
